Federal Realty has recently filed its Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) on the Assembly Square redevelopment project for submittal to the State under the MEPA process.

In this Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR), Federal Realty explains it's vision for a smart-growth redevelopment at Assembly Square and analyzes all of the impacts and benefits of the proposed project.

The MEPA process is not a strict permitting process but rather a mechanism for public information gathering and dissemination. The Massachusetts Secretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs requires an environmental impact report to gather information from the proponent, local and state agencies and the public that will then be used in all of the future permitting processes that the project will have to go through.

It would be helpful to know which areas of projects impacts and benefits are of greatest interest to you. Please check off as many as you would like of the items below.
